With reference to your letter No. 5 in 5119/11,

dated 15th. June, 1912,

1.

I have the honour to inform you that, on further consideration, it is thought that the small piece of land in question should be retained for Military purposes.

2.

In the meantime, it is proposed to offer to let it

to the Humphreys Estate and Finance Co., until actually required

for occupation by the War Department.

3.

Under these circumstances, I regret having troubled

you in this matter.
